Grand Concert of Ferragosto

The great harmonies of the masterpieces of symphonic lyric music and the Neapolitan Classical Song are on stage in Amalfi. The tradition of the Grand Concert of August is renewed on Sunday 14 August at 9.15 pm (free admission).

Piazza Duomo is transformed into a large outdoor amphitheater for one of the most exclusive and elegant events of the Amalfi summer, inserted in the large billboard prepared by the municipal administration led by the Mayor Daniele Milano, by the Councilor for Culture Enza Cobalto.

To fascinate the public, on stage, the S.C.S. International Symphony Orchestra & Soloists, a formation of over 40 elements, with the solo voices of soprano Cristina Fina and tenor Achille Del Giudice. Conducting the orchestra was Maestro Ivan Antonio, under the artistic direction of Maestro Paolo Scibilia.
