The "Venerdì Santo Agerolese" (Good Friday) is a sacred representation of Christ's Passion which takes places in Agerola. It is probably the most ancient and evocative one of the entire Amalfi Coast region. This unique event has been performed by local people for more than two centuries. Times have changed, faith and passion have not. All the scenes are staged in a natural location, one of the most beautiful in the world. The most touching and final moment takes place in the natural park of the "Colonia Montana". In a surrealistic atmosphere the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is staged.
