The city of Amalfi returns to be the scene of the Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics. The Palio delle Antiche Repubbliche Marinare 2022 will take place in Amalfi, next 5th June.
History and sport, tradition and culture. The city of Amalfi returns to be the theater and tribune of the Historical Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics. Born under the high patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, the 66th edition of the historical commemoration event consists of the challenge between the galleons of the four queens of the seas: Amalfi, Genoa, Pisa and Venice. The race course is 2 thousand meters long and embraces the stretch of sea that goes from Capo di Vettica to Marina Grande.
