It will be staged Friday, August 27th, in the Ancient Arsenal of the Republic of Amalfi, the play "Colapesce: beyond the legend".
Three replicas are foreseen, every hour starting from 20:00.
The legend of Niccolò Pesce, called Colapesce, "sinks" its roots in waters far away in time. To demonstrate how much his figure is still alive, the quotation that Jules Verne makes in "Twenty thousand leagues under the sea". Not only that, there are also hints of this myth in international movies such as "Aquaman" by Marvel or the new Disney movie "Luca", soon to be released and set in Italy.
Colapesce reminds us of the important link that exists not only between Southern Italy and the Mediterranean, but also between the human being and his environment, his essence. This transformation into a fish is a beautiful allegory: the man who descends from the marine world returns to it to complete his true evolution.
Entrance allowed only to holders of Green Pass: you can book by going to the Arsenal during opening hours or by writing an email to colapesceprenotazioni@gmail.com.
